It’s about earning trust.
And let’s be honest -
Using power to silence or dismiss employees because you’re ‘the boss’ is just sexism dressed up in authority.
And anyone who thinks they can get away with treating staff poorly is fooling themselves...
But also putting the entire company at risk of a Tribunal claim brought against them.
Leadership isn’t about who shouts loudest.
It’s about who listens.
So, if your title ever makes you feel above kindness or respect, ask yourself:
Who are you really leading?
Because true influence lies in kindness and transparency- not titles.
